Paint by Pixel Postcard - 2004

4’x6’ aluminum, spray paint, adhesive vinyl

26 1’x1’ squares varying in depth. Each square (pixel) is layered with adhesive vinyl numbers in four colors: yellow, light blue, dark blue, pink. Each section of colors are unfolded origami-like forms: yellow = sun, light blue = sky, dark blue = water, pink = sailboat. The final image denotes a holiday postcard.
